Matt Black is an award winning TV & film writer, director, producer, and editor specializing in documentary film.
He is the co-director/editor of the feature documentary Bright Spark: The Reconciliation of Trevor Southey which is currently airing nationally on PBS and streaming on PBS.org.
He's also the founder and president of the Utah Documentary Association.
Matt's written and produced feature films and broadcast/cable TV, created videos for U.S. Presidential and Senate campaigns, led video departments for digital agencies and corporations, and pursued a myriad of creative dreams and projects.
Matt has a master's degree in Documentary Film from Stanford University and was recently a Filmmaker-in-Residence at the Utah Film Center.
